Dr. Harmon, Endodontist
J. Jared Harmon is a life long resident of Louisiana. He graduated from Brother Martin High School in New Orleans. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from LSU, majoring in Biochemistry and Microbiology. In May 2000, he graduated with a doctorate in dental surgery from the LSU School of Dentistry. Upon graduating, he was awarded the Student Achievement Award in Endodontics.
Immediately after graduating from dental school, he was accepted into the LSU Endodontic three-year residency program, where he was awarded a Certificate of Outstanding Achievement for his research presentation by the New Orleans Dental Association, the New Orleans Section of American Association for Dental Research and the Center of Excellence in Oral and Craniofacial Biology. In July 2003, he earned his Post Doctorial Endodontic Specialty certificate from the Louisiana School of Dentistry Advanced Education Program.
Dr. Harmon is a member of American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, New Orleans Dental Association, the Lake Pontchatrain Study Club and the Greater Gulf Port Study Club. Additionally, he is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Mary Queen of Peace Dad’s Club. In his spare time, Dr Harmon enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary, and and their three sons, either coaching baseball or assisting with the Boy Scouts of America.
Courtney, Chairside Assistant
Courtney is a Graduate of Delta College, where she received her Certification in the Dental Assistant Program. She received an award for “Special and Excellent Recognition” for her outstanding GPA. She was also listed on the prestigious President’s List.
